The mission of Helping Hands Services is to be exactly that; a set of extra hands to help families deal with the issues that arise when those they love have special needs that do not allow them to live as independently as they have.
Hi, I'm Cindy Johnson, the owner and operator of Helping Hands Services. My father, a Methodist minister and my mother, a registered nurse, left me with a commitment to serving those in our community. I am an experienced mental health counselor, case manager and guardianship guardian ad litem Most importantly, I am like you in that I have a family and I understand the realities we must face when a loved one is dealing with increased physical and mental health problems, a terminal illness or a need for additional daily care.
When a family member of friend can no longer live in independent housing or in assisted living, an adult family home is a wonderful option. Adult family homes are a wonderful option to nursing homes. By working with a network of of adult family homes licensed by the Washington State Department of Social and Health Services, I am able to match those you care for to a home that cares.
